The Ustedalen
The Ustedalen is a modern ‘mountain’ hotel situated just an easy 10 minute walk from the centre of Geilo and 200 yards away from the Halstensgardheisen ski tow. For more than 80 years the hotel has provided its guests with good food, comfortable surroundings and friendly service in keeping with the best of Norwegian traditions.

All bedrooms are very comfortable with ensuite bathrooms, large picture windows. There are a choice of twin, double and family rooms. Facilities in the hotel include a swimming pool, sauna, large children’s playroom conveniently situated close to the dinning room lounge bar with live music.

Meals are taken in the large dinning room – each morning a large traditional Norwegian buffet breakfast is served – all breakfast preferences seem to be covered, cereals, porridge, bacon, eggs, breads, toasts, hams, cheese salami, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled herring…!

A large buffet is available each evening with shell fish, smoked salmon, smoked trout, hams, salads, soups, a choice of three hot dishes and a wide variety of deserts.
